James Mellaart was a pioneering archaeologist who made some of the greatest discoveries about Turkey’s prehistoric past, changing our understanding of the late stone age forever. Eser, ünlü arkeolog James Mellaart’ın hayatını merkeze almakla beraber eşinin ve kendisinin köklü aile geçmişlerinin aydınlatılmasına da ışık tutmaktadır. Sayın Alan Mellaart’ın gözlemlerine ve araştırmalarına dayanarak zenginleşen bu naif anlatı arkeolojiye ve tarihe (bilhassa son dönem Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet tarihine) merak duyanlar için bir başucu referansıdır.
